The one thing that has sustained me over the years is Proverbs 3 v5&6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."

Not He may but He shall. Sometimes the hardest thing is letting go and letting God.

Recently my husband brought up the issue of the removal of the 10 Commandments from public places. Apparently, he was listening to a Sunday sermon on the radio- and the point was made that many Christians are outraged that the commandments are being removed from public view. Then came a question that stirred our thoughts. How many of these outraged Christians have the 10 commandments on display at their home? Well, we didn't. I'm sure some do, but we were not among them. Needless to say, after discussing the matter, reflecting on the facts, and accepting our conviction- We made it our mission to find and purchase not one, but two wall hangings to proudly display in our home (one for each entrance. Sometimes our enormous love of God and our desire to readily defend Him, blinds us to the little things we can do when the world publicly rejects our beloved Lord and Savior- as the Bible predicts they will. Change what you can change and have faith that the rest will be taken care of when Jesus returns.
